REPERTORY DANCE THEATRE'S MYSTIQUE (East meets West)
Saturday, March 27, 2010 8:00 pm
Jeanné Wagner Theatre
Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center

RDT celebrates the choreography and history of legendary choreographer Michio Ito. Michio Ito (1893-1961) consciously created dance blending elements of "east" and "west". He was a pioneer who fused eastern and western music, poetry and drama, to create universal choreographies that have left a footprint in American Modern Dance. Also featured in this performance is a new work by Andrea Miller and Kraak by Jo Stromgren which both fall in line with the East meets West theme of the evening.
